Leaders are working in collaboration with parents and the community to develop the school grounds, as this features highly on the agenda for local children and parents. This long-lasting legacy project has been established to create an Outdoor Environmental Learning & Play Area, which we hope will be embraced and supported by all of our parents, carers and the wider community.

The school would love to improve these resources, which include IT equipment (eg Chromebooks, tablets, coding hardware etc), curriculum artefacts (moulds of teeth, scientific experiment kits, historical outfits etc) and active play equipment (bats & balls, skipping ropes etc). As you may appreciate, this wish list will evolve during the course of the academic year, and in response to any future Covid-19 related events.

The school was blessed with a complete new build in 2018, and it has been wonderful to settle in these last couple of years. Now we have a better understanding of how the children and staff work within the building, it is time to improve it beyond its initial shell. Any help you can give us to achieve this will be greatly appreciated.

It is time to get creative! The school would love to brighten up the interior with murals covering the walls, an enchanting library space, and plenty of display boards showcasing our children’s fantastic work. Our Chagford children are incredible artists of all persuasions and we can’t wait to be able to show this off to you, whether through the medium of art, drama, music or dance.
